Why we left it out
Because sameness is expensive. When everyone runs the same few models over the same prompts, the feed converges. The reason someone follows a small account is that it sounds like a person — that’s the asset, and generated copy quietly spends it.
Because editing a draft is not faster. The slow part of posting was never typing two sentences. It was deciding what to say, finding the photo, and remembering to post at all. Templates and a calendar attack those; a generator mostly hands you something to fix.
Because it keeps the price honest. Running models costs money per use, and that cost lands in subscription prices. Bloom’s free plan is free and Pro is $4.99 a month partly because there is no inference bill behind it.
Because disclosure rules keep moving. Platforms continue to change how machine-made content is labelled and shown. Writing your own posts sidesteps that question entirely.
Who this suits, and who it doesn’t
It suits people whose voice is the point: creators whose audience follows them rather than a category, small businesses where the owner is the brand, and anyone who has tried generated captions and found them faintly embarrassing to publish.

Does Bloom use AI to write captions?

Are my posts sent to a model for processing?
No. What you write is stored for your account and sent to the platforms you selected. It isn’t used to train anything.
Will Bloom add AI features later?
