For photographers
A social media scheduler for photographers
You come back from a shoot with sixty frames and no time to post them one at a time for a month. Bloom is built for exactly that: upload the set once, spread it across the calendar, let each platform get the version it wants, and keep the print and session income in the same place.
Free plan. No card needed. Works on the web, Android and iPhone.
One shoot, one sitting, a month of posts
Bulk scheduling takes up to 60 photos or videos at once. Tell Bloom how many posts a day you want and when to start, and it spreads the set across your calendar. You then open each post to write the caption, name the client if they have agreed, and move anything that landed on the wrong day.
Photos are kept in a media vault: 500MB on the free plan, 10GB on Pro and Plus, with single files up to 25MB free and 500MB paid. For most photographers the paid vault is the real reason to upgrade: a full-resolution set from one wedding is not going to fit in 500MB.
Each platform gets the version it wants
Instagram takes a single photo or a carousel of up to ten, with a caption up to 2,200 characters, and a single video goes out as a Reel. Bluesky takes up to four images and 300 characters, with alt text and a clickable link, so your “prints available” line can actually point somewhere. Facebook Pages take a photo, up to ten photos, or one video. X takes up to four images and posts for you on Pro and Plus.
Bloom publishes to Instagram, Facebook Pages and Bluesky automatically on the free plan, fitting the same post to each set of rules. Pick the four frames that stand alone first; Bluesky takes the first four and Instagram takes all ten. TikTok clips go to your TikTok inbox to finish, and Pinterest, which many photographers want, is not supported. That last one matters: if Pinterest is where your bookings come from, Bloom is not the right tool yet.
Alt text, credits and the behind-the-scenes clip
Alt text travels with the image where the platform supports it, so you can describe the frame once for screen-reader users and for search. Captions can carry the credit lines a collaboration needs; Bloom keeps saved hashtag sets (up to 50) so the location and genre tags you use every week are one tap, not a retype.
A behind-the-scenes clip from the shoot is the easiest video you will ever make. One video on its own posts to Instagram as a Reel, to Facebook as a video post and to Bluesky as a video; a clip mixed with photos becomes a carousel item on Instagram, while Bluesky posts the video alone or the photos alone, never both.
Prints, sessions and the money behind the pictures
Bloom has an income ledger that most schedulers do not. Log a print sale, a session deposit, a licensing fee or a tip, with the platform or client it came from and whether it is paid or still a request. Log expenses too: gear, software, travel, a second shooter. For US photographers, a quarterly tax estimate reads this year’s ledger and tells you what to set aside.
It is manual by design. Bloom does not connect to your gallery store or your bank, which is what lets it work for any storefront, any client, any tip jar, and keeps your numbers in your account only.
Who this is for, and who it is not for
A good fit: a photographer posting their own work to Instagram, Facebook and Bluesky, who shoots in batches, wants a calendar they can fill in one evening, and sells prints or sessions directly.
Not a fit yet: anyone whose bookings come from Pinterest or LinkedIn (neither is supported), a studio with several people posting under one brand (one person per account, no approvals), or anyone who wants analytics pulled in from the platforms (you log results yourself). There is no AI anywhere in Bloom; captions are yours.
The free plan has no time limit, so the honest test is to schedule one shoot and see whether the month goes out the way you planned.
Frequently asked questions
Can I schedule an Instagram carousel of a whole shoot?
Yes. A carousel takes up to ten images with a caption up to 2,200 characters. Upload the set, pick the ten for the carousel, and schedule it like any other post. Bluesky gets the first four of the same post.
Does Bloom post to Pinterest?
No. Pinterest and LinkedIn are not supported. If Pinterest is where your clients find you, Bloom is not the right tool yet.
How much photo storage do I get?
500MB on the free plan, 10GB on Pro ($4.99 a month) and Plus. Single files are capped at 25MB free and 500MB on paid plans.
Can I track print sales in Bloom?
Yes. The income ledger logs any sale, deposit, fee or tip with its source and status, alongside expenses, and it is free on every plan.
