For musicians

A social media scheduler for musicians and bands

A release has a date and a show has a date, and everything you post leads up to them. Bloom lets you write the announcement once, schedule the countdown across your platforms, send the clips where they need to go, and keep the merch table and tip jar in the same app as the posts.

Free plan. No card needed. Works on the web, Android and iPhone.

Release week, scheduled in one sitting

Plan the week before a release the way you would plan a set list. Teaser clip on Monday, the artwork on Wednesday, the pre-save reminder on Friday, the “it’s out” post at midnight. Write each once, choose the platforms, set the times, and the week goes out whether or not you are in a van with no signal.

Bloom publishes to Instagram, Facebook Pages and Bluesky automatically on the free plan and to X on Pro and Plus. The link matters here more than in most kinds of posting, so know the rules: a link is clickable on Bluesky and Facebook, not in an Instagram caption (put it in your bio or a link-in-bio page), and an X post with a link needs Plus, because X charges apps extra for posts with URLs.

Clips, artwork and the vertical video

A single video posts to Instagram as a Reel, to Facebook as a video post, and to Bluesky as a video; the same clip can go to all three from one post. Artwork and photos go as a single image or a carousel on Instagram, up to four images on Bluesky and X, up to ten on Facebook.

TikTok is different. Bloom sends the video to your TikTok inbox at the time you choose, and you finish the post in TikTok with the sound and effects TikTok only allows in its own app. That is a draft, not a publish, and the TikTok page explains why no third-party tool does better. YouTube gets a ready-to-post kit that opens the upload page with your description copied; it is not an automatic upload.

Show announcements that do not all sound the same

Touring means posting the same shape of announcement for every city without it reading like a template. Bloom’s idea library is written by people, not generated, and its fill-in templates leave the city, venue, date and support act for you to type. Saved hashtag sets (up to 50) keep the genre and city tags one tap away. Nothing in Bloom writes your captions; if you want a tool that does, it is the wrong one.

If you have been logging results for a few weeks, the best-time view shows when your own audience is around, which for a lot of bands is late evening and not the office-hours chart that generic advice gives you.

Merch, tips, streaming payouts and the tax bill

Musicians earn in a dozen small streams, and most tools ignore all of them. Bloom’s income ledger takes a merch sale at the table, a tip, a Bandcamp-style direct sale, a sync fee or a streaming payout, each with the source you name and whether it has been paid. Log the van’s fuel and the merch print run as expenses. US musicians get a quarterly tax estimate from their own ledger, which is the number nobody tells you about until April.

Bloom does not connect to distributors, payment apps or banks. You log it or import a CSV, which is why it works for every platform you earn on and why the numbers stay in your account.

Who this is for, and who it is not for

A good fit: a solo artist or one person in a band who handles the posting, releases or plays regularly, posts to Instagram, Facebook and Bluesky and X, and sells merch or takes tips directly.

Not a fit yet: a band where three people need to post and approve (one person per account), anyone who needs YouTube or Threads published automatically (kits only), or anyone who wants streaming and social analytics pulled in (you log results yourself). Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp are not platforms Bloom posts to; they are sources you can log income from.

The free plan has no end date. Schedule one release week and judge it by whether you were still posting from the van.

Frequently asked questions

Can Bloom post my release to Instagram, Facebook and Bluesky at once?

Yes. Write it once, choose the accounts, and Bloom publishes to Instagram, Facebook and Bluesky automatically on the free plan, fitting the text and media to each platform. X is added on Pro and Plus.

Does Bloom post to TikTok and YouTube?

TikTok: your video is sent to your TikTok inbox at the scheduled time and you finish it in TikTok. YouTube: a ready-to-post kit opens the upload page with your description copied. Neither is an automatic publish.

Can I put the pre-save link in every post?

On Bluesky and Facebook, yes, and it is clickable. In an Instagram caption a link is not clickable, so use your bio. On X, a post with a link needs Bloom Plus because X charges apps more for posts containing URLs.

Can I track merch and tips?

Yes. The income ledger logs any sale, tip or payout with its source and status, alongside expenses, on the free plan.

Write it once. Bloom posts it everywhere.

Connect your accounts, schedule your first post and let Bloom publish it. The free plan includes automatic posting to Instagram, Facebook and Bluesky.
