How to schedule Facebook posts with Bloom
- Have a Facebook PageBloom posts to Pages, not personal profiles. If you don’t have one, create it free from your Facebook account.
- Connect Facebook in BloomOpen Setup, tap Facebook, sign in on Meta’s screen and choose the Page.
- Write the postText on its own works on Facebook, or add a photo or up to 10.
- Schedule itPick a time or auto-schedule. Bloom publishes it to your Page and confirms it went live.
Getting more from scheduled Facebook posts
- Text-only updates are welcome here. Unlike Instagram, Facebook doesn’t need an image, which makes it good for announcements and questions.
- Write a little more. Facebook readers accept longer posts than Bluesky or X. Expand the Facebook version when you cross-post.
- Plan around your week. Put recurring posts, like weekly offers or updates, on the calendar once.
The details: video, mentions and more than one Page
A Facebook Page post from Bloom can be text, one photo, up to ten photos, or one video. Facebook takes a video on its own, so if you attach photos beside a video the video is what posts, and Facebook can take a few minutes to finish preparing it after your scheduled time.
You can mention up to ten other Pages in a post. You can connect up to ten Pages, on any plan, and choose which ones each post goes to. If Facebook refuses a post for a temporary reason, Bloom tries again after three minutes and again after fifteen, then tells you by notification with a button to retry or post it yourself.
Two things Bloom does not do on Facebook: it does not post to personal profiles or groups, because Facebook only lets apps publish to Pages, and it does not attach alt text to Facebook photos yet.
Frequently asked questions
Can Bloom post to my personal Facebook profile?
No. Meta doesn’t allow apps to publish to personal profiles, so Bloom posts to Facebook Pages you manage.
Can I schedule posts to Facebook groups?
No, groups aren’t supported. Bloom publishes to Pages.
Can I post to Facebook and Instagram at the same time?
Yes. Select both accounts in the same post. The Instagram version needs a photo; the Facebook version can be text only.
Can Bloom post videos to Facebook?
Yes. A Facebook Page post can be text, a photo, up to 10 photos, or one video. Facebook takes a video on its own, so photos attached beside it don’t go with it, and Facebook can take a few minutes to finish preparing the video.
